My CT honk sounds like a police car. I did not change the honking sound in the system; it happened today. Yesterday, it still sounded normal.
It’s cool, but I still schedule a service appointment.

I REALLY like it. I have been taught how to change the lock sound, wish we could do the same with the horn. Boom box changes become dust in the wind once you engage Drive. Would like to find a work-around on that option.

I did not change anything. The Honk sound option is off. When I try to change to a different honk sound, it is extremely small. I think my honk speaker is broken.

Mine makes the same buzzing sound. Picked up the truck Sept 4. It’s not very loud.

It’s not as quiet when you’re outside and in front of the truck. Here I compare it with our Model X.

I Scheduled service last week. No one knows why it happened. And everything seems to be ok.

As long as we don’t get ticketed for “impersonating an emergency vehicle“ I guess it’s OK. ?

You shouldn't be able to except by loading a custom audio file on a USB drive, and even then it won't replace your standard horn, but will only work while parked. For some reason there are a couple of us with non-standard horn files factory loaded. We can't change ours either, they're simply different.
