anyone else have this issue: Search for a store where you know there are many locations, and the one closest to you is often choice D and choice A is 15 miles away? its so annoying.

Since we are talking navigation to a destination. How do you navigate to a random address by voice?

I try to navigate to my father’s often. He lives about 5 miles away on 12345 Reva Road, Reva. I have not been able to get the truck to accept this address. The “Reva” is the hard part, I get Reba, I get Reeves, I get destinations 1000’s of miles away. I have even tried spelling it out letter by and still no joy.

Of course it works fine if I just type it in. My solution was to finally set my father‘s house as my place of “work” so I can simply use the voice to say navigate to work, but is there a better workaround? Anyway to add favorite destinations like bookmarks?

There's a restaurant in downtown Austin called "Three Forks", which sounds like "three four" or "three fourths". Worse, they used Roman Numerals for the "Three" in the name, so if I ever have a hope in hell of navigating there, I must ask for "Eye Eye Eye Forks".

I have used this method many times to great effect.

The first time I used FSD to get to the airport, it missed the exit?!? So I checked the nav, which was taking me to the literal mailing address, centered on the property (right between two runways)! It was going to take me around the back and try to use the service entrance lol.

I created a pin by holding down right at the dropoff spot on the map, made it a Favorite, and named it "airport". Voila.

I'm just curious if this would work - try asking it in Spanish - tres tenedores (I don't speak Spanish so Senior Google said that is correct.)
