I have service technician coming on Tuesday to address a few issues (cross bar access door won’t close + rattling of steering shaft cover’) hopefully he has seen this before

It's a known bug. Rebooting my MCU didn't help, I just had to leave it on until it randomly started working again. Took about a day I think.

I’m having the same issue. At least for me, when this happens I’m also getting shitty performance with features related to Premium Connectivity. I took this photo to show that my map detail disappears AND the next song isn’t loading on Apple Music. It just hangs indefinitely. Oddly, FSD was still driving to my destination (thus the sneaky angle of my photo so I didn’t get yelled at by FSD).

After this photo, I switched over to stream Apple Music from my phone over BT and that worked fine.

I have done a reboot which fixed it briefly, but it obviously came back.

My gut tells me it’s related to cellular connectivity because both of these features require near real time access. I’m well within coverage areas (Dallas area) so other than an occasional dark spot, coverage shouldn’t be an issue. But I have no data to support my hunch.

Been too busy last couple of weeks to ask Tesla for help.

My navigation screen went blank for the 2nd time. The only thing that appeared were faint gray lines of some roadways
This is the 2nd time it happened
The 1st time I did a reboot and it restored
Haven’t rebooted again
Waiting for tech to respond
Anyone experience this
It just happened to me, also for the second time. The first time, it got fixed when a software update was installed at night.
Now I'm running 2024.33.15, and again, no road data, satellite, or even the standard map shows up. I just tried turning the power off for 3 minutes, and it did not work.
The FSD still works; the truck knows where it is going, but the map is just a gray grid with no road or image.

Did you do the double scroll wheel reset?

I just did it, and it got fixed right away. THANK YOU!
Note that I previously did the whole power off, and that didn't help.

Yeah, I had the same thing. If the screen (MCU) is off in the weeds, power off doesn't work normally.
