I've had my Cybertruck for 10 days. Aside from two minor quibbles I haven't found anything about it that is a disappointment, and many things that were much better than I anticipated even after (or sometimes because of
) reading about other owners' experiences.
- The better than anticipated list:
- The acceleration of the AWD version.
- The steering, ride and handling.
- How easy is was to adapt to the controls, squircle wheel, regenerative braking and rear views on the display.
- The comfort of the seats.
- The HVAC system.
- The VR display of traffic and context on the display (probably applies to all current model Teslas, but I didn't expect this at all...!)

- The iPhone heater pads that I thought were supposed to be wireless phone chargers. If you like your iPhone to be scorching hot and low on battery power you'll love the way the things work! I bought a handful of USB-C charging cables and stowed them in the truck to work address the charging situation. I cut some ⅜" black, soft foam sheet material to fit in the phone slots and keep the phone separated from the charger to stop the
heatingcharging operation. - The cabin storage provisions. There is insufficient storage space for things kept in the cabin - basically just the glove box (cool operation but not a lot of volume), the door pockets and the bins under the center armrests. More storage can be added by buying the under-rear seat storage bin and something to convert the footwell space between the front seats into useful storage. That's my next thing to add to the truck.
