It’s hard to see in the photo but the old one had flaring along both the front edge and the edge parallel to the sides of the truck vs the new one only has flaring on the front edge

Did you notice the seal sticking out in the original? I’m not totally clear what is being done for the fix but I just noticed my seal gets pushed out and you can see it very clearly in your original photo.

Yes and it’s still sticking out with the new frunk as well

That must be a third or newer revision where they have just given up

For those of you that are wondering if this TSB applies to you, I believe it’s this seal between your headlights and the plastic drunk assembly. If you see a rubber seal wedged between your headlights and the plastic frunk assembly, you are good.

My frunk looks like the one in your picture. No rubber seals just plastic trims.
