I noticed that most leaking in my CT bed during rain and carwash happened in one spot under the aero flap.

So I took the aero flap off, found out that the seal strip under it has a gap right at the leaking spot.

Comparing the left and right mounting locations of the aero flap, I also noticed the seal strip is very off at the left end, almost missing. (Marked green in photo.) And the roof glass is not well aligned  .(Red marks.)

I filled the gap, put the aero flap back, then the leaking is gone, at least for now.

@Technigogo posted a video showing detailed instruction to take off and put on the aero flap, in case anyone needs to watch it.
Poor workmanship . Very surprised and disappointed to see that .

I have a small rivulet flowing into my smugglers bay after just a basic car wash ... probably have the same problem and more ......

Maybe this is a silly question.
Why not take it to a service center?
I think it helps make the engineers aware of a problem in the field, allowing more permanent solutions in both the manufacturing and after delivery repairs.
I just booked mine it's over a month out for the next service appointment in Austin, TX (The mothership for cybertrucks) I could see why someone doesn't want to wait a month+ to have their bed not leak.

The issue is parts
I had my appointment rescheduled twice because the parts didn’t arrive in time…
But a tarp will protect your cargo in the meantime.

Mine was in twice and they couldn’t fix it so I did it myself, bone dry now.

I’m not so sure about that. The Austin service centers are just slammed. I had some other trim adjustments and the first appointment was a month later for that as well. San Antonio was just a week out. I’m not sure why Austin service can’t scale.

by the way. The service center has an update notice to replace the foam insulation in the panel between the glass and cover with a rubber one. This is a serviceable item now.

Good to know. Is there a way to see the update notice, or a reference number? I'd like to check with my service center and see what they say. They replaced my tonneau once, but it didn't change anything.
any more details regarding the updated version like part number

Has anyone solved the issue of water coming in from the sides of the bed - where the bed lights and track are? I had the extra slats added and did the top gasket seal behind the roof glass that someone posted a video on (Thanks OP - haven't tested it yet to make sure it works but it should) but I haven't seen anything on stopping the leaking coming from the sides. Thanks
