Even paying cash requires a credit check. Believe me I have great credit, but when they run your credit it’s a hard hit for 2 years. Not much you can do about it either.

it’s not illegal to not have credit or worry about a score - it’s just highly unconventional (for which I congratulated him above).

But that was the implication … that the person has income but can’t show it because it’s not above board. Or doesn’t pay taxes.

and as person of a “minority religion” already, I don’t think I would mind that either.
