Happy to report my car is serial #389X and not affected by the Accelerator Pedal recall. I WILL NOT get the ugly rivet. The recall mentions 3978 affected. My CT was built March 15th and delivered on Easter, March 30.

Was that from a service advisor or tech? I'm going in on the 9th just for the recall. I took delivery on Mach 31st with a VIN in the 5k range.

My pedal looks fine, the cover is fully seated and feels secure.

While your vehicle might not have needed it, the recall DID NOT only impact vehicles through 3878. There were many trucks over 8000 that have been setting waiting for the recall. I know my 4000 required it.

And if you didn't know it was there, you'd never notice it.

I know people with serial numbers in the 5000 and 6000 range were not allowed to take delivery and then got the rivet. How sure are you that your info is official?

Good points about non-sequential production numbers. I have an appointment next week to adjust both cantrail panels that are misaligned and had my service advisor check the recall against my VIN. Not required in my case.

Same. Been on hold for a few weeks now. Insane how a “minute” fix has taken weeks
Many Service Centers received the equipment needed to implement the "minute fix" 4 days ago.

so you’re saying I should have gotten my car 4 days ago?

My pedal was supposedly fixed over a week ago. I was told Friday there was another delivery hold placed on all Beasts Thursday night. Anyone else heard that? I’ve had a vin since 3/31! ?

The vins are not sequential so vins over or under ~3800 will be impacted. Mine is on delivery hold and vin is 6000 range.
They may not be sequential, but they aren't entirely random.
I know of Cybertrucks produced in Mid-March through this week that were impacted.

And it's interesting how this is the ONLY owner so far that has indicated that their vehicle did not need the update.

And there is the reality of the recall notice:
Tesla Cybertruck No Pedal Rivet for me. No recall. 15 March Build. 1714419560802-w7

Look at the Descriptive Information near the bottom.
My guess is that vehicles since April 4, were not in the hands of owners and therefore did not warrant a recall, but still needed to be remediated before owner hand-off.

Got mine on Easter. Pedal doesn’t move and the place where it “catches” doesn’t seem to exist I on my AWD. Vin in the 3200s. Haven’t received any notice or correspondence from Tesla.

I believe I saw that recall notices were going out in June.

You have never had a recall from legacy auto?

What kind of BS statement is that. This recall is moving at lightspeed relative to a fast legacy auto recall.
