Please update these as winter goes along. I’m really looking forward to the ultimate winter tire setup. I live in the eastern Canada with somewhat mild but really icy winters. I think studs are my best option. I don’t want to baby the truck when it gets greasy.

I have these tires LT3 275 65 R20 Studded. So far they are performing excellent on ice and snow here in Alaska. I have them on stock rims. They are about .9 inches smaller in diameter. If the truck indicates 65mph you're actually going 64... I've used hakas on all of my cars for over 20 years. My other two teslas lose about 40-60% (16 X and 20 Y) of range at 0f. I expect the Cybertruck to be in the 25-35% range loss due to the lower efficiency of the truck per kwh.

I have been running Nokian Hakkapeliittas on my Teslas since 2017. Best Winter Tires I have ever used.

And this I just had a set of Studless Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3s put on my Cybertruck FS at Discount Tire.

They gave me a pretty nice deal on the package including Fuel Flux Wheels and TPMS sensors all for just under $3,000.

And for an additional $120 annually, they rotate the Summers and Winters and seasonally store the takeoffs. Tesla Mobile Service I think charges about $90 just to do a tire swap in my garage.

I did store only three of the original four tires, so I have a spare a easily available should that be needed.

Alex (his direct number is 224-539-7190) from Discount Tire in Mt. Prospect Illinois said he'd be able to honor this deal if anyone on else wants it.

Really like those Fue Flux wheels as well. This seems like a winning combo - better than Tesla's own Winter package. What sort of range hit are you seeing with the Nokian's vs the OEM AT/AS tires?

Thanks Tommy!

I just put the new set on, so I don't yet know about their range. Also, the Cybertruck is new (to me), so I don't have a good reference regarding the range of the OEMs.

I am going to have to defer to others regarding range...

Very nice! How does it ride? Also curious how much you notice the difference with studs versus non-studs. I will probably go with a similar tire Hakka non-studded or Blizzak. I’ve had the non-studded Hakkas before and have had great experience with them.
Studs are a night and day difference on ice. If your winter conditions have ice regularly you will love studs. They are a bit noisy at low speeds .. like driving on gravel .. faster speeds are no issue

Their stock all terrains. They were bad ?
Yeah, All Terrain tires are generally not good on ice. You don't necessarily need studs, as any winter tire will outperform most All-Terrain tires by a large margin. With the winter rubber compounds available these days, studs have been falling out of favor for many years. Personally, I'll never buy another set of tires that need studs to perform well in the winter.

It all depends. Without studs on one of ours. I might need to wear depends. -Wh/mi for 7 miles to main road.

This is what I feel like without them. https://olympics.com/en/sports/skeleton/

Like a freaking luge of ice sometimes. The angle prevents just about any slowing despite the best snow tires.

I have said before we divide our resources. Snow, studs, chains, and best of all stay home.

Wanted to let everyone know that I swung into my local Discount Tire here in Omaha and pulled up this thread on my phone they price matched everything to what @CT-Chicago had! Thanks for the tip! They said rims and tires should be in early next week, so I'll let everyone know how it goes. One thing I didn't initially notice was the wheel offset. Does anybody know what this is going to be like going from the stock offset of 58.5 down to 20 on these Fuel Flux wheels? It looks good in CT-Chicago's pics so as long as I don't have anything rubbing on tight corners I'll be thrilled to have gotten such an awesome deal!

Too bad these Nokian Tyres don't come in the Cybertruck stock sizing of 285/65R20. Looks like the Nokian's are 275/65R20
