Hi all! I'm incredible excited to pick up my non-FS AWD CT tomorrow. Curious what others experiences have been with the current state of non-FS delivers.

1) What software version was it on when you picked it up? Curious if these are arriving with FSD.
2) Was the J1772 adapter and sunshade included? I've seen some people reporting they were included for free and some reporting they didn't get them.
3) What was your CT charge at when you picked it up?

Also interested in any other general info that pertains to non-FS deliveries that I might not be thinking about.

I will update tomorrow with answers to those questions based on my experience :)

It’s literally been an available choice for 2 weeks to just *order* much less be widely available for delivery. You should be going into your delivery tomorrow with these questions internally and posting about your experience for everyone else because you’re gonna be one of the very first few.

This exact reason I am posting here is because it's still very early. In other threads there have been several people that have already taken delivery, so it's not like I'm one of the first 10. If there were widespread deliveries for non-FS I obviously wouldn't need to post this :) I figured there wouldn't be a better place than this forum to start the discussion. I'm sorry to have upset you!

I'm sure a lot of the details vary from SC to SC. But I did get the roof shade and the J1772. Charge was about 77%. Mine came with FSD trial enabled (12.5.5)

1) probably not the one that you want and it may take a few weeks to update. But don't use FSD for at least a couple of weeks, you need to learn how to drive the truck first.

2) J1772 should be with all Teslas. The sunscreen is not a standard option.

3) They can be all over the place with charge. Probably at least 50% though. If you need more, it gives you a chance to stop by and Supercharge.

That's great. Congrats on your truck! When did you take delivery?

Appreciate the answers! I have a several hour drive back home (No SC in my area) and 80% of it is on low traffic interstates, so would only be using FSD on those longer more boring parts. I will definitely be driving the truck manually for most of it :)

Update as promised...picked my AWD CT up yesterday in Indianapolis. My expectations were so high for this truck and it has exceeded them in every way. This thing is amazing. My truck did come with the adapter and sunshade, so that was a nice surprise.

Build quality was good. Tesla rep had some adhesive remover and cleaned up a few parts for me. Outside of that there was only one panel gap that was bigger than I'd want, but it wasn't big enough for me to request any repairs on it. It's at the gap by the back right passenger door.

Made the long trip home last night and it was a breeze. Woke up this morning with FSD installed and it nailed the drive to work.

Congrats!!

I just did a test drive yesterday, still going back and forth on if I push that final button!

I was wondering, for your non-FS truck, have they fixed the last slat in the tonneau cover to cover the holes yet? I heard this was a 'recall' piece, but wasn't sure if they were coming out fixed yet.

Just to confirm I mean the slat closest to the front of the truck

That's a super good question and I didn't even know that was a thing. It looks like I have it? But in a different way. I see that same bar but it is lower than in the picture you shared. Not sure if that means I have the fix or not so any info is great ?

Yeah tough to say but it looks better at least! Well if you do end up with any leaking through there there are lots of posts on how to fix it. Appreciate you taking pictures!

Little more info for anyone that is curious...below is a picture of how much water got into the bed after a touchless car wash. Part of me is thrilled that it's that little considering it's a jet spraying water down into it, but part of me is also a little bummed that it's not better sealed.

How does this compare to others trucks? Did I get lucky and get a good cover or do I need to look at some of those DIY fixes?
