Our Cybertruck Had The Rear Motor Inverter Issue - Here's What Happened (I was surprised by the FIX)

Looks like mine might be a unique issue caused by extreme temperatures, rather than a failure if the motor or inverter - see my post above.

We still can’t have it fail in extreme temperatures. But I agree it’s a different issue than the thread.

Yours is the highest VIN I’ve seen for a FS. What month is on your door placard?

Oh No! I got the turtle icon today. Rear Motor disabled. Three weeks ago, I heard a hiss and felt resistance in the rear and have not been driving it since today. Tesla service wanted me to drive 173 miles to a service center in Fort Myers 3 weeks ago, but I declined (distance). I scheduled service in Merrit Island (50 miles away) for today!
I NEVER MADE IT.
Tesla Roadside Service noted it was drivable and said so on the screen. However, it would not go into drive or reverse even after several software resets. The service center suspects rear motor failure, but I will have more details tomorrow.
