I really just noticed this since I never used it, but park assist never works It just says park assist loading and never loads. Could this be? I don't ever remember disabling it or even if that's possible.

I’ve only used it a couple times for the testing when it came out. Looking forward to integrated parking in FSD 14 - the videos of it show it actually be useful.
parking the truck manually is just so damn easy

My auto park bumped a carriage in a parking lot the other day while backing in. It also regularly does not stop squarely in the spot. I hope this is improved in v14

I personally don't think they should have continued to allow autopark in the current branch since a few people have been reporting minor bumps.

I expect it to be wildly improved with v14.

It was very minor, i only noticed because i was watching the camera when it happened. What was weird was that it stopped, pulled forward, then backed up right into the cart.. it was almost comical, like it did it intentionally. I agree but they gotta do real world testing i guess.

Ok I tried it today and had to partially back into the parking spot and it finally registered. . Since I was half way into the spot it was much quicker then last time I tried it.

I used it once.

Showing off with a bunch of buddies. Impressed the heck out of them with FSD on a lunch drive. After everyone was super impressed, said, "watch this".

Engaged autopark,

she backed up,
she pulled forward,
she backed up,
she pulled forward and proceeded to clip a parking column with the passenger side rear corner.

Ground out the corner (hey it's stainless steel, I can buff it out whenever I decide to...). But you should see the column! took out a solid chunk.

Ain't used it since. I am on FSD 98.9% of the time.

I only get off it when I want to be more aggressive going across traffic...and to park.

Mine works, I just don’t use it as much as I used to as it does too much tire scrubbing for my liking. I’ve got over 40,000 miles on my OEM ATs and I have a friend whose wife does a lot of tire scrubbing getting into and out of their perpendicular garage. His ATs were bald after 10,000 miles.

Hold the two steering wheel buttons until the screen turns off and then wait for it to boot back up.

I kept trying to use Autopark in my Model S loaner, but the map is on the driver's screen and I kept trying to poke it
