Parking Assist Loading message takes a long time

Anyone else got that issue too - ever since the big FSD 14 update every time I pull out the garage / driveway my screen just shows Parking Assist loading and only comes active when I am on the road - kind defeats the purpose of having this visibility for distance when leaving a parking spot. Same applies anytime I leave a parking spot anywhere - was never an issue with prior FSD version, but seems to stick mourned with 14.

Yes, I'm seeing the same thing. It often takes 30 seconds or more to load when leaving a parking spot, I hadn't ever noticed a delay prior to the 14.2 release (I'm on 14.2.1.25 and it still happens).

Have you tried turning off WiFi before pulling out? In my car, it’s continues to attempt to use my home WiFi until the signal is abysmally poor at the end of the driveway and this makes everything slow including iTunes for example. Turning off the WiFi fixes that.
Not sure if that directly relates to the park assist but worth trying.

thanks - will give it a try, yet I have a strong signal where the car is parked and all around the house, just loosing it around 15 ft from the house/driveway, and by than parking assist has loaded...

I'm seeing the same message after the latest 14 update. I'll see it repeatedly. Wi-Fi and LTE.

It usually happens for me when I'm away from home, no wifi involved. It doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be noticeable.

I get the same warning just about every time I start up now, whether at home or away. Also, since 14 the synthetic surroundings take maybe 15 seconds to load, so as I first back up, I do not have surroundings unless I wait a bit after putting the CT in reverse.
