“24 Foundation Beast running 2026.14.6.12/14.3.4 FSD. I am getting frequent phantom silhouettes showing driver front side. It is at low speed when backing out of my driveway or when Imstart to use FSD from a parking spot. The car indicates an obstruction, shows the individual silhouette and says FSD not available take over. It just recently started the same thing erratically at stop signs. It is not consistent in appearing but when it does it is at one of these 3 occurrences.
Anyone else getting this? If so, what did you do to fix it. I talked to the Tesla guys at my service center and they didn’t have a fix or answer. They discounted the slight scratch in my front lens as the culprit. Any ideas?

I would use a ouija board or possibly contact a priest for an exorcism. Im figuring you did something to upset tbe spirits and communicating with them before exorcism may be your best bet.

I too saw a phantom figure on my driver's side last week and did a round of hail Mary's which seems to of helped.

🪦👻 this was not next to a graveyard, actually a REAL problem. Thanks for input though!

Have you tried the two-wheel reboot? Then a shut-down if the first doesn't work?

Two wheel reboot: yes
By “shutdown” do you mean “power off” if so, no but I will try that.
(Happened again yesterday at stop sign while in fsd and would not continue until I hit the accelerator.)
thanks

Many have reported the "phantom figures" in the latest release, myself included.

My best guess is that they are trying to prioritize pedestrian safety, and turned up the detection-dial a little too high.

I haven't noticed new phantoms recently but my cameras claimed to be inoperable after I left the Tesla Center a couple days ago after a demo drive of a Model Y Performance and Model 3 Performance. Coincidence?

I'd check the camera lenses. In the past when I've seen excessive ghosts it's been dirt/dust accumulation - usually on the side fender cameras.

Thanks for input. When I mentioned the problem at the Service Center, we went around and cleaned all of the lenses on the cameras to preclude a dirty lens causing the problem.
I am tending to agree that they probably changed the sensitivity parameters a bit to much.
Wonder why little surfacing of 5he problem on the boards, probably because it is intermittent and not consistent.
