Phone key disconnects

Do other people have this issue? Most of the time I have to re-connect my phone to the Cybertruck. I spent a couple of days with service in Charlotte. Pretty worthless. Finally talked to an actual person at Tesla. They said I was doing everything right, but it keeps disconnecting. They had me re-boot and the power off the truck. That didn’t fix it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Model phone? Have you unpaired and repaired all your keys? Other troubleshooting steps performed?

iPhone 16 Pro Max. Current release of IOS. Only 1 phone key. I have deleted, repaired, deleted and reinstalled the app, rebooted and powered off the truck. I was on the phone with Tesla support for all this.

Same issue for me. Have three teslas, and cybertruck is the only one that disconnects. iPhone 16 Pro and now 17 Pro.

Not to jinx myself, but I hadn’t ever had this experience.

Same. iPhone 17 Pro max. Even had Apple back line support help trying to fix it but still fails. Eventually it will reconnect on its own, but rare. Have to use the app to both unlock and start the CT. Oddly, the phone is recognized for using the phone for calls, but calendar sync and as a key remains a problem.

I had the same issue. with my IPhone AIR. I too had also brought it to Tesla and they had no clue. It would disconnect generally within 2 minuets then reconnect, non stop. Sometime Reconnect would not work, until I then rebooted the Cybertruck. Then I when out and bought another IPhone 17 Pro Max in frustration and did not do the restore from Icloud rather, I manually downloaded the Tesla App and added my email account (which then automatically put my contacts and calendar events on the phone)then setup the phone with my cybertruck and the problem came right back. I also tried it with my buddy’s older IPhone 15 and no problem what so ever. In short I was able to narrow it down to the syncing of the messages and contacts option on the truck. In any event Tesla then pushed out the latest update and I also had a iPhone update and I have been able to turn on the syncing contacts and messages now and I have not had the issue any more. Hope this helps…..
