Had my eyes on these for a while now. Unfortunately it seems the rollout is taking a while and they don't have the 285/65R20 size out yet. If anyone else is holding out for these, can you post here or DM when you get your hands on a set? Really hoping to get some before the snow hits NoCo.

Those are the 275s.
They will fit and not rub - a bit taller and your speedo will be off by about 1 mph-ish.

There was a thread on here a couple of months ago regarding the best winter tires and the 275 size came up - one of the member has 275/65R20 Hakkepeliitta LT on his stock wheels without issue.

They've gotten some in the mountains and we got a light dusting the other day, but nothing that stuck.
I had a rough drive over Vail pass on i70 11/30 around 7p. Multiple lines of 30+ vehicles in left lane driving 25-30 mph. Fortunately right lane open for slalom practice and I was able to drive 40-45 mph. Just a few inches of snow but very icy, due to warm temps up to the storm. I came thru a few hours after i70 reopened near Glewood Canyon, two multi-vehicle pile-ups with 3-4 hour road closure.

I was driving my dad's ICE truck with BFG KO3s. While they don't stop like a snow tire, they did ok. $200 off now at Tirerack. Top of my list when my Cybertruck needs new tires.

Ideally I want to keep to stock size. Maybe bigger. More for aesthetic purposes than anything.

Review highlights:

1. " Compared to the stock Pirelli Scorpion ATR all season tires, the XTM ATs were 9% less efficient driving at highway speeds"
Nice sample of one. Better than none.

2. "... The negative impact of off-road tires drops on highway as speed is reduced due to less wind drag coming from the more aggressive tread pattern."

Um, that's more like increased friction aka rolling resistance of the tread pattern, not "wind drag."

3. " In addition to a noticeably quieter ride [of the XTM ATs], the ride was also much smoother. The lugs on the KO3s are more aggressive..."
Interesting. KO3s appear to have narrower lug voids than the XTM ATs.

I caught all that too on the second read through. Admittedly my bias had me gloss over some of that. 9% reduction seems a bit excessive and I wonder what the exact comparison was. If they were compared side by side, one after the other, or if there was some time lapse and the reviewer had other mods installed in between.

I am still gonna hold out for them though as long as I can. I am stubborn.

Just an update if anyone is watching this thread. These tires went live on Discount Tire 2 days ago. I ordered a set as they said they're available to ship to store in 2-6 days. However, a rep just called and they said it went up too early. Pirelli confirmed production starts on these tires at the end of February in our size.

Do you know what the price per tire was on DT?

Oofff that sucks. I was ready to jump all over These. What do you guys think of these vs. the Michelin defenders? Looks like they’re getting pretty high praise. I’m going for aesthetics but also want them to be as quiet as possible
