Seems like there's lots of information that may not be correct. So I'll ask her in the owners club about statements made in the article. What do you guys think of this? Is it new or incorrect information?

Locking Diff on front only?
The Foundation Series, a $20,000 upcharge, gets Full Self-Driving capability, and all Beasts have an electronic locking front differential—neither was enabled on this early-build truck though. (Dual-motor trucks get a locking diff at the rear, too, but the Cyberbeast's dual rear motors take care of that need.)
https://www.caranddriver.com/review...t/#:~:text=The Foundation Series,of that need.)

Would dual rear motors really negate the need for a locking diff in a low traction scenario? I'd take locking rear diff before locking front diff any day!

Gross Weight 9169 lbs?
Thanks to its gross vehicle weight rating of 9169 pounds, the Beast is technically a heavy-duty truck

Brake By Wire?
It has steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire
https://www.caranddriver.com/review...:text=It has steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire,

I really want to trust well-known publications like Car and Driver, but when speculation is presented as fact like:
The rear-axle steering plays a role, too, enhancing agility, to the point that the Beast's dual rear motors don't do any torque vectoring across the axle because the truck is nimble enough already.

As if they were told by Tesla engineers this is the reason they don't do torque vectoring...Doubtful.

The one thing which I found strange was they said cyberbeast was 834 hp and everywhere else it says 845.

I want to see an AWD fully tested. Have I missed that somewhere?

I read the C&D piece...surprised they didn't take their usual dump on Tesla. Author's struggle: oh I really like it, but Tesla doesn't give us any ad money, so I will be like Biden and not try to say Tesla or anything too positive lol. Trying to paint 48v as a negative...ROFL.

Good to see mainstream media with an overall positive write-up.

That’s plain crazy and shouldn’t be legal……until I can afford one.
