What happened to your roof?
It cracked and spread across the entire root. No impact or reasons why.
Do not put tint on the double pane roof top!! Will reflect back into the top glass and crack it. Didn’t happen to me but I’m told this can cause a problem.

I was hoping that it wasn't something in manufacturing but I would not make any modifications to my glass. If it was an impact-created problem I would be very interested in knowing what the projectile was and what velocity it impacted at, but your description sounds like a manufacturing or design flaw.

When I went in for a visit last week, they told me the wipe motor recall isn’t official because they haven’t sent anything physical in the mail yet. So I can’t get mine replaced until then.

Not sure if it was software update yesterday or recent service on it from.recall. Noticed that wiper doesn't go to it's place and also moves (heartbeat) while driving. Any recommendation?

No, you have to read between the lines. I didn’t tint mine because it probably would have not been covered and I would have paid $2100 to replace the roof. I think those that have tint with a higher UV protection are reflecting that heat into the outer glass of the outer pane glass roof thereby cracking it. I bet I will not have any more problems with my roof if so then yes it will be a design flaw.

OK so my truck is fixed. Tesla covered the $2100 roof replacement. They fixed the wiper issue. For the one that was told there is no recall on the wiper motor, there absolutely is and you need to pull it up so you can get the repair.
I was told the wiper was more on the right side (from driver perspective) due to an alignment issue and a stripped motor part. They realigned it and replaced the motor again. I have not seen it yes but will get it sometime today and confirm.
If it’s correct then I will post the SC notes do you all can advise your SC’s when getting the repair.

My SC (West Covina) confirmed that at my service appointment next week they will replace the wiper motor and sail appliqués for the second time. They were replaced on July 13.

(For those just joining: I had only requested a part (glare shield) and the SC ‘upgraded’ my part request to a wiper motor/appliqué replacement, even though I just had the motor/applique replaced on 07/13)

See attached notes from my Wiper motor repair in order to fix alignment issue. At 65 mph the blade should move towards the left edge of the windshield (drivers perspective) where it’s barely visible from inside the vehicle. This changed after my wiper recall motor repair. This was their repair notes. See attachments.

Must be software update, I’ve had no service (yet) and my wiper now sits off towards right . Maybe Tesla is trying to fix the side mirror buffering issue ??‍♂

There is a near invisible arrow on the windshield where the tip of the wiper is supposed to sit at rest. The wiper assembly must be unbolted and aligned to that arrow.

I think it was a software update too. I have the original wiper still, never did the recall yet, and it stops and moves to where it's a little less vertical now, slightly tilted a degree or so towards driver now also.
