I have see the same thing, I thought it was broken and loose so it was wiggling but seems like everyone has the same issue. Also everyone we are not talking about the wiper going into the horizontal position and holding. We are talking about shaking in the default vertical position at high speed. Almost like it’s going to fly off.
If the movement is erratic, it could be buffeting. the air is in "puffs" and makes it move as the air pressure changes. Roll down your window, and see if it changes some. Or .. put your hand in the air and you will feel the buffeting. Air is not a steady flow.

It literally says in the manual what it's for.

"While driving in the rain, the wiper blade may pause in the horizontal position for approximately 30 seconds before continuing to wipe the windshield. The blade may also move slightly based on vehicle speed to make Cybertruck more aerodynamic."

Even in the Vertical position, it moves slightly for better aero.

The red is talking about the wiper moving from its vertical stored position to facilitate better aero. I don't know why it would appear to be sporadic though. Perhaps it seems that way as the software keeps it in position longer than you'd think it should.
I remember reading about this during the development cycle and "move slightly" seemed to imply it would change the angle of the wiper arm slightly for better aero. The question is does "move slightly" mean a one time slight movement or constant slight movement because the latter seems a bit odd to me. That being said, it doesn't explain why I've seen mine doing it at a complete stop. It could certainly all be related and maybe there's just a bug in the logic.

There's probably a method they are using to figure out the force the motor is feeling from the wind. As the wind changes, the wiper moves to compensate. When you come to a stop, it probably resets back to the default position. Unless you are stopped in heavy wind, in which case it may continue trying to find the optimal position (without encroaching on the windshield).

Could be. I suppose when you see the movement, it is moving away from the A pillar and into your line of sight slightly. That would be odd behavior at a stop. I would suspect it would move INTO Aero mode at, say, 45 mph and stay that way for either the full drive or until the car 'thought' you were going to be sustaining lower speeds. Maybe it gets that from the route you have planned or can tell by the road and traffic that aero position will have negligible effect so it moves it back to storage location.

Yea, I'd understand if it moved inboard of the A pillar over a certain speed and stayed there, or even if it moved it inboard every time you put it in drive, but I don't think that's what some of us are seeing. For me, it's moving back and forth maybe 1/4" (if that), but it's enough to tell it's moving and it does it non-stop for the duration of the drive. It's not every few seconds or every once in a while, it's literally constantly moving when I've seen this happening.

Okay. yeah, that IS odd.

Mine does it as well and I saw it doing it at a stoplight when I was headed to the SC so mentioned it. They removed the wiper arm, torqued the attaches, checked the wiper motor and transmission and it still did it they said it should be addressed in a firmware update soon. Personally, it seems like what you get in little electric motors when there is. Voltage leak somewhere, I suspect there is a ground that got missed or something from the motor controller as it needs to be in drive for it to happen. Overall very minor, but it can bug a guy if you let it I’d prefer to think of it that my truck is so happy it’s wagging it’s tail lol

Confession I thought you were commenting on speed of the wiper. It’s crazy how fast the thing moves. After 3 weeks today was the first time I had a real opp to drive in the rain.

Although it doesn’t look super effective from the outside, it’s all angles. From the inside it looks totally fine. From driver and passenger side.

My week old CyberBeast wiper is also pulsating back and forth at freeway speeds. I noticed it today on my first road trip. It's not normal Aero behavior. I was able to catch it on video to show the service department.

I will try and link a video here also..

Does anyone else have this issue with the windshield wiper moving from left to right about quarter of an inch when speeds over 65mph are reached. Im noticing either a motor issue or software glitch occuring when my CT hits 65mph and the wiper moves back and forth on the left side in the default state. Its strange. I feel like eventually itll just break off.

Am I the only one here having this issue???
