No they date "LATER IN 2025" on the site/page still. Nothing about Q3.

Annoying as was soon in 2024, then in 2025, now later in 2025. Been waiting 1.5+ years.
Yeah, I noticed this a month or two ago. It changed from Q3, 2025 to ‘later in 2025’. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏼

Thanks for starting this discussion. I'm also waiting for any update on this. I have solar panels(non-tesla) and no powerwall battery backup. To my understanding, I need a gateway 3v to hopefully in the future be able to use my truck as the backup in case I have an outage.

Do I have the right equipment? Are we all just playing the waiting game?
Yes you need the gateway. I have a 20Kw solar panel setup(non Tesla) and powershare. It has worked great with my truck and set up. I didn't realize how much we lose power overnight until I had this system.

Your powershare is working with the gateway now? How did you get it to work? To my understanding it is not yet available. Is it the gateway 3V?

I have 2 homes I want to bring on online, I do have solar, in CONNECTICUT, so this is going to be an issue., do i need an additional Powerwall for this install?

As for my lake house in GA, I'm trying to schedule an Install for Jan when I am there. No solar, so this should be a straightforward install. just flip on at 10pm to 6 am daily, 6000 sq ft, I don't think I'll need a backup Powerwall just the Beast.

anyone know what I am in for?
more money!

If by "flip on" you mean powering the house from the Cybertruck every night, you may be in for loss of warranty.

Where in the app does it say not available yet? Not that it really matters. Just curious because in my app it just says home not connected even when I have PowerShare Home Backup turned on and the CT is plugged into UWC. I have solar and Powerwalls, just for clarity.
Here for now (in pic) but in time I'm guessing we'll see a connected or available type message instead.
i'll go slow,
1 hour at night,
over a few weeks ill increase, 4 hours max, ill see if i can stagger the
powershare Off and On to allow for a quick recharge at Night
It may get complicated. Even with the 3v gateway. You'll have to go off grid to use PowerShare, it will kick in but then you have 11kW max if wire for whole home. Exceeding that will flip it all off and you'll be blacked out.

11kW is like a hot water heater, some led lights, and then an AC will exceed it, or definitely a heat pump that turns on its coils, etc. Electric oven briefly, etc. if ya use gas then surely easier.

Def plan it out.

I've got a 5-ton cold climate heat pump. It pulls about 3 kW max when it is on high.

I am afraid this feature will have the same as the range extender: it will be cancelled… disappointing
That would be a huge problem, unlike the range extender (although that litigation will be interesting). Anyone who purchased a CT, power wall, gateway and solar panels would have a huge claim if Tesla officially walks away from PowerShare in this configuration. I did all of this in 2025, fully expect it to work. Yes, HaulingAss & REM, it was a promise. In writing. I’m not holding them to the dates which were ‘estimated’, but getting it done was a legal commitment.

do we have to register the equipment/buy directly from tesla? or as long as you have it installed correctly it is fine to use?
