Powershare Gateway No Longer showing energy data

After the PowerShare Gateway installation and setup I was really enjoying seeing how my home energy was using grid or solar power. Then one day, it just stopped showing the data. I've done a full power down at the gateway and at my home panel and no help. For those of you with Powershare on a home with a non Tesla solar installation, are you able to see the power flows to and from the grid?

Yes you should see the power flow. Maybe your Gateway disconnected from your WiFi? My Wall connector went off line and I had to add it back to my WiFi.

I'll go through that again. I may need to setup SSID I only use for that stuff.

I had the same issue and called Tesla today and complained about it. They said it was turned off and they just needed to turn back on. Before the phone call was over it was back working. They said it’s something to due with a pending firmware update to work with non Tesla solar. Said that update isn’t arriving for a month or two.

I am having the same problem. What Tesla number did you call? I keep getting referred to the electrical installers who put in the gateway and they want to charge a fee to assist.

I am having the same problem with my iPhone app not reporting data with the PowerShare setup.

I have third party solar.

it suggested so I had the installer connect by an Ethernet cable the PowerShare gateway to my home internet router last week. Starting about 4/19 the Tesla app would on various occasions report no data reported. I assumed the gateway was dropping the WiFi connection. I installed a hardwired ethernet connection last week from my router to the gateway. See port in pic. I also disconnected the WiFi for the gateway.

Ethernet connection Was working fine until late last night. Had to reboot the gateway - power down the entire house. The gateway orange reset button does not seem to power down to reset the gateway.

have the data reporting now. Do not know why app “no data” as the Ethernet cable was connected and lighted up both at the router and at the gateway.

maybe faulty gateway???
