$2,500 for all Foundation for Gateway and Wall Connector. $4k with Beast toward installation. Guessing the $5,600 already had GW and UWC removed.
Wait a second. You're saying we get a $2500 credit to buy the powershare equip AND get another $4000 if we bought the Beast?

What does QMerit do again? Near as I can tell, they call someone in your area who knows how to do the actual work and asks them to come to your house and scope, estimate, and execute the work and then the actual worker sends the bill to QMerit so they can mark it up (a lot) and pass it along. Is that about right?

My first impression was your install looked really clean and well done! I think the dual conduit looks nice as well. Ok, I agree, the flex conduit doesn’t look the greatest. Who cares? It works, right?

How many of your home circuits were backed up?

Just received my quote from Qmerit $5928.75
Gateway $4180
Wall conn $688.75
Permit $500
Supplemental work $560 (2023 code upgrade)
688 for Wall Connector is way high ... even if you add breaker, I paid 150 $ for breaker installation ... without breaker I did the install myself in 1 hour

Not sure what you mean “additinal $2500.” Beasts get $4k total install credit, right?
4000k for install and 2,500k for Tesla store credit. The Tesla store credit buys you the gateway&univetsal charger.

I am totally confused on what to expect. I have a beast with a config date of Feb 2024. As far as I can tell, this means I still get the $4,000 installation credit.

I took delivery a few weeks ago and just got contacted by Qmerit to start the install process.

4000k for install and 2,500k for Tesla store credit. The Tesla store credit buys you the gateway&univetsal charger.
I don't think this is correct because yesterday a Universal Charger showed up at my door, shipped from Tesla. I did not order this. Also, I have not even started talking to my local power-share installer yet.

I do fully expect a $4000 credit, as even my latest e-mail from Tesla, linking me to Qmerit has indeed mentioned it. I have seen no official communication at all about a $2500 credit, however the Beast is indeed supposed to come with a universal charger and gateway.

I was told anyone who configured the CB after 6/1/24 will NOT get the $4000 credit. You still get the $2500 for the equipment but no longer the install credit.
Please tell me I am wrong!! I configured 6/17 and still wanting for my VIN.
Qmerit told me they can’t do a thing until I get a VIN and then they will tel me if I qualify for the install credit or not.

Great to know. Don’t you have to wait for the download from Tesla to begin using it?

How many man hours did it take?
For the crazy prices these elon anointed electricians are asking, I'd demand they come back and run all those wires behind the drywall in the wall cavity.

I have been hearing that you have to wait for Tesla to activate it any one else know? When they left after the install it was updating so it wouldn’t charge the home. They arrived at 8am and left at 4:30

May 23rd was when the wording changed on the order page removing the $4k installation credit.

Yep, up to $4k install credit for February order.

This could be due to being an early order before the $2.5k shop credit system. Maybe?

Yeah, the $2.5k credit instead of equipment was a later change, but seems to be implemented retroactively based on the $700 + $1,800 credits.
