Great news! I did indeed pick up my PAWD CT today in Louisville, KY.


The truck is amazing as everyone knows. Frunk closed slightly unlevel at 3 of the 4 corners and there was a dime sized scrape in the tailgate tail light. They will take care of those at my convenience.

Enjoy the ride. Prior to your service work, you might be able to mostly even out the frunk lid yourself. There are rubber feet/stoppers in the corners on the underside. They screw in or out, which adjusts the resting height of the lid. (Kind of like furniture feet). I did that myself, so while the frunk has a very slight "underbite," it is level right to left and has consistent reveals along both fenders.

Great news! I did indeed pick up my PAWD CT today in Louisville, KY. First things first. I asked the service advisor if he could please tell me what they had to do to my CT that kept it on lockdown for 3 weeks. His answer proves that they have no intention of being transparent about whatever the issue really was. He said it was a faulty windshield wiper washer fluid hose. I had to laugh. With a straight face, he insisted that was the issue as they were in low supply.

I had a few more words but kept it nice as it was irrelevant at this point. I have my truck. It's a good day. I would've gladly driven it with a dirty windshield however. 😑

I noticed that both sides seemed a little wavy near the rear, especially along the top edge. I think I've seen posts about that, need to research. Everything else was perfect. FSD drove me 90% of the way home (240 miles) without a single pickup. I honestly fear installing any future updates because it did so well. Software version is 2026.14.6 and FSD is V14.2.2.5.

My order, after 63 days, finally changed from “in production”… To “in transit to delivery location”. ETA range June 19-30. So sumpin’ happened. Maybe they were able to successfully replenish my depleted windshield washer fluid? Or replace the battery. One of those two.

regardless… Woo hoo!

Once my order status changed from in production to in transit, all I did was ask Tesla assistant in the app “what is my arrival date for my cybertruck RNxxxxxx” and it spit out a date range. Whether it’s hallucinating or not, I cannot tell. 🤣

I was never even in status of “in transit” so I wonder if my PAWD is some old one no one bought they are “upgrading”

Oh well, now on to preemptively and permanently altering the wiring in my home on the hope that it eventually comes

Same here … the CT is at the SC but the delivery window is not open in the app. I guess yours is also the case like mine that your truck arrived at the SC but before they could offer a delivery date it was put on hold.

it sounds like some fault was discovered in all cybertrucks as of a certain time interval, regardless of whether they were ordered, in production, in transit, or at SC, and all were put on hold until whatever the issue is was fixed. Wide VIN range.

wish we knew what the issue was, although just one more thing for me to fret about!

it now seems like things might be opening up for hopefully everyone! So maybe some happy CT owners in the near future.

of course, I could get another notification in an hour that my delivery window has been moved to 2033.
