Not sure. If it does you can override it on screen to turn trailer mode off.

No you can’t. That’s why I’m asking you. And being in trailer mode locks out significant features.

Odd. I can turn off trailer mode while something is plugged in. That’s how I use FSD with empty trailer.

Are you sure about that?!!! I did a long post about this long ago where I can’t be an off-road mode and have my trailer connected because it knows that there’s a trailer connected without disconnecting. It’s my primary gripe with the truck.

Has this been updated in software and I just didn’t know?

Yes, you CAN turn off trailer mode-I did so yesterday while towing a trailer, and engaged FSD!

I Dono! I read on this forum that someone did it and so I tried it yesterday towing my motorcycle-worked like a charm! Just went into the towing setting and turned off Trailer Mode at the top!

I just never tried disengaging it before! One thing to note is the TRAILER LIGHTS/BRAKE LIGHTS still work when you disengage Trailer Mode!
