Red Bull doesn't give you actual wings either. Nothing illegal in anything here as in against the law or criminal. Unless the promise is a binding contract in the state where it was given (TLDR, it isn't) there is no civil claim for any of that stuff.

The law would write it off as puffery or marketing spiel in this context. It was stated before the vehicle was introduced after all, not told you by a salesperson at delivery. Given the level of knowledge of many of the Tesla salesfolk I have encountered who had to Google to answer my questions, I would never put much faith in anything they said.

Funny thing about Red Bull is that they actually did get sued based on the offer of wings and had to subtly change their commercials on a go forward basis.

It’s a perfect case study about class actions and promises in the context of public offers. Cost them $13 million!

I've never understood people that scream "I hate hospitals!" Where would you rather go during your heart attack? Chick-Fil-A seems like a nice place to die, I guess. Free refills!

That said, hospitals should really replace the waiting room with a saloon. They could charge NFL-stadium prices no problem.

My wife's in medicine and worked in a Level 1 Trauma center during COVID. Not fun and her favorites were the non vaxxers coming in complaining of symptoms with their families (also non vaxxers) yelling at staff and refusing o wear masks. I say fine but we're not treating you so you and your family can go the F-home.
