Oxnard here... Ours was ordered back in JUNE (2 months now since 'configuring and paying $1000'). Originally ordered way back in Nov. 2019 or course...

Email back in June said it would be 'July- August' for delivery, but with everyone else seemingly getting theirs 'early', as well as the 'opening up' of orders for anyone, we were kind of expecting to get our VIN by now... It's for a CT with Tactical Grey (I know, that could be a delay?) and with the AS tires (thought it was with the AT tires but just checked and order says AS ones).

Does anyone think that if we switched to AT tires it would 'speed things up'?? Can't believe things are being held up because of TIRES...
Yes i dont think any AS in foreseeable future.

Why is that?

I have seen a couple of CTs that had 'other than AT' tires on them... (couldn't say if they were stock or not as I don't really know)...

Do you think if we 'reconfigure' with the AT tires it will go though faster or is that going to put us further behind in the queue?

I havent seen anyone post they got a vin for AS.

I've seen others post that theyve changed grey to white and got VINs almost immediately or soon. Not sure Ive seen that about changing AS to AT, but would think its similar.

Hi folks

so I live in Northern California and placed CT order Aug 2nd same date as email invite.

in reading forums it seems almost everyone in California get VIN in a few days it's been 10 days Tesla told me there is no estimate for VIN for me.

I ordered AWD white interior. Anyone else in same predicament?

thanks
I ordered mine. Week ago , no vin I then messaged on the app asking , immediately I got a response “are you paying cash” I said yes he called me
Right away and said if I could take delivery this week he could probably track down a truck for me but after Sunday I would need to wait longer. I said heck yeah. That was yesterday he called today and said he’s still looking for a truck for me. So we will see if a week after my order date I have a truck . Kind of surprised me . I’m glass I contacted them. It seems as if you’re guy who response wants to he can take it to the next level and find one for you. I’m in Marina del Rey .

So I got my delivery scheduled for last week here in Pittsburgh. Invite came less then 2 weeks ago! I didnt take delivery and asked to change to a beast. I’m scared that the fs awd will plummet because demand, but for what I’m reading there are still a bunch of you out there wanting and waiting. Thoughts?

The Beast and AWD will plummet the day non-FS starts shipping by about $17k.

I think it all depends on how you cost it out; in my case the beast offers a 4k dollar credit which I am already taking advantage of for powershare. In addition I get the FS credit of 2.5k to buy the gate way. So deducting those brings me down to 115k. Even if FS Beast tanks to 90k in a year, I feel not too bad because I have FSD,upgraded wheels ect, which will cost extra for a non-FS.

For sure those help you if you are going to use power share. I'm just talking about trade-in wise.

Those, the cooler divider, FS badging, floor mats, etc. don't add value. Right now, FSD doesn't add value to a trade-in. Tesla, Carvana, and Car Max told me they don't value it in a trade in right now (likely, in part due to the price volatility and the fact it can be transferred). Not sure if they will put a value on Premium Subscription.

That said, all of those things may have value in a private sale. Regardless, the Beast and AWD will depreciate about the same once the non-FS are released, if Tesla holds to the 80/100k pricing.

I am in Northern California. Configured and ordered 6/22/24 (I reserved in Sept. '22).

AWD, White, All-Season Tires.

I changed my order from All-Season to All-Terrain tires on 8/4. One hour after the confirmation that my order had changed, I got a VIN and am taking delivery tomorrow!

My justification to myself at least, was that the AT tires are going to be more expensive than AS when non-FS launches. So why not take the more expensive version of the truck (since FS is a premium) and then replace with a cheaper tire?

Looks like the data from the forums here shows ~60 between configuration and delivery and at this point, I'm coming across dead average.

I've read that some folks on the forums are taking delivery of AS tires. But I'm not sure how numerous those deliveries are.

Good luck and I hope you get your pickup soon!

Ok I'm confused here. When I originally ordered I ordered 20" core wheels with 35" tires . When I asked the Tesla folks on the app if I had all season or all terrain tires their response to me was that the 35" tires were Terrain but when I look at the website now the all terrain come with 25" cyber wheels and 35" all terrain and the 20" core wheels come with 35" all season tires. I was actually hoping for the all terrain anyway. How did you make the switch? Call? Message via the app? Thanks
