I’ve recently noticed a curious behavior with my Cybertruck and I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing something similar.

After my Cybertruck has been sleeping for an hour or so, as soon as I approach with my phone key in my pocket, the rear light bar quickly flashes for just a split second.

This happens precisely at the moment the truck detects my presence and starts waking up (the door button lights activate as usual)

Took a video here:

Once I tap one of the door buttons, everything returns to normal. The rear light bar performs its usual unlock animation, and there are no other problems while driving or during normal operation.

When checking Service Mode, I’ve also noticed a few alerts related to the HV battery. Not sure if this is related.

Anyone experience something similar or know what could be happening here?

It sees you are getting close and readys the truck. If you leave your phone key away from truck and walk up it does not happen.

This started happening a couple months back to me. At first I thought it was odd but I figured its from an update - It detects phone BT connected and wakes up

Can confirm this AND ive got my Apple Watch phone key connected BUT it will NOT wake up just from the watch - has to be the phone ?‍♂

Is that an Apple Watch Ultra (or later)? It might be based on UWB.

Feature, not a bug.

AWU2 has UWB, maybe it's not enabled in the Tesla App? Or the watch app doesn't support it yet? (I'm Android)
Apple Watch Tesla app sure needs some functionality upgrades!

Same here. Never had the literal brake lights flash. Only the light bar animation when it actually unlocks.

I think this is a firmware bug from the Spring update. Hopefully it gets resolved soon, so annoying.
