I wonder why they went this route. I feel like blowing cool air would be more effective at completing the task.
Most cars with ventilated seats pull air. Actively cooled seats with their own ductwork blow.

Pulling air wicks sweat away from you whereas blowing upward is trying to push the moisture through your clothes and away.

Thanks for sharing!
I also have a refreshed Model Y, and its ventilated seats are way stronger than my Cybertruck. The Cybertruck's cooling is barely noticeable on max.
When did you get your truck? Any chance you can check if the seats are blowing or sucking air when cooling? Wondering if Tesla changed the seat design in newer builds.
Received CT Aug/24, air blows though seats. I am not saying it will blow your patties up, but I do find it cools my behind comfortably. I was given a Model X as a loaner once, I found the seats too cold and uncomfortable, had to keep turning seats off. My wife complained about seats being too cold. I could hear the air blowing though seats being on MX. I run my CT seats on high at all times. I am in New Orleans and seat cooling is blessing. If my back isn’t sweating, I am happy.

The seats on my 10k VIN from May 2024 work well.
I’ve been happy with the cooling on my seats as well. 52xxx VIN built in November 2024.

There were a couple of times I wondered if they were working and I think that’s because the ambient air temp didn’t get cold enough. Today, the ambient temps got to the set temp and I could feel them cooling me through my jeans. Good stuff.

It is just a fan, the air within the cab has to be cool from the AC, then it sucks that cool air up. If it is just blowing warm air it won’t do much. I notice mine works best after the AC has been running for a good 10-15 mins.

I'm going to recant my statement above about my ventilated / cooled seats.

Now that we've (finally) had more warm weather over the past couple of weeks, I've been able to compare the ventilated driver seat on my CT to my wife's 2024 Model 3. The ventilated seats are much better on her seats than mine. I feel the cooling a lot more whereas on my CT it feels a lot less. I'm questioning if there's something functionally wrong.

Join the club. We have t-shirts.

Hot, sweaty, t-shirts.

Was at the local Tesla store yesterday and tried the cooled seats on the Highland 3 and Juniper Y in the showroom and they are both similar to the seats I had in my old Model S Plaid - similar in the sense that cooled seats work well in all those vehicles, just not in my Cybertruck.

Ugh, so it sounds like it's not a defect with my seats...seems like it's just how the CT ventilated seats work.

You'd think they would use the same / similar parts to ensure the performance is exactly the same...

Rented a car in Paris that used two lumbar supports to give a "massage" while driving. Really, it was just the inflation and deflation of the bags in a somewhat random pattern though the result was a nice change for the back on our drive to and from Cologne.

Come on, Tesla, why not?

Cooling seats work just like they do in Porsche and BMW, they suck. What they do is remove some of the moisture (vapor) that your body produces so you are less inclined to have a sweaty butt and back.
