yea I seen it on there but never made the connection, thinking what’s this do? I’ll figure it out later. Been really busy and havnt had time to learn it yet. Only have about 100 miles on it.
I feel you…it is a lot to take in. I spent about 40 mins at the Supercharger the other night just skimming through the digital manual ;)

What Tesla ought to do in my opinion is have a rear camera in a much better location that isn’t easily blocked by hitch mounted items and that has a self cleaning system for dirt and mud
What truck makers have those kinds of cameras (with cleaning)? I have never seen one on a new truck before... I have seen aftermarket ones, but again, not that have self cleaning even.

Is it Ford? RAM? GM? Just curious which trucks are coming with something like that already.

I’d like a bigger mirror screen too. I’m sure it will happen.

Why does Tesla have to restrain itself to what the piss-poor competition does? The entire Cybertruck is an exercise in outside the box thinking. If mercedes has wipers and spray cleaner on the headlights, and an aftermarket company has a housing for cameras with a sprayer for washer fluid to clean it, then there is no reason Tesla couldn't take notice and innovate. I see no reason for the comparisons to other brands. Tesla could be the first.

My two cents.

Cheers.

I agree the rear-view camera display window is too small. I hope Telsa can push an update giving us the option to make it a bit bigger on the display. Better yet, I am looking forward to some vendor releasing a third-party digital rear-view mirror cam that is easy to install.

I’ve gotten used to the slightly smaller size, because it is closer to my eyes than the traditional rearview mirror. To me, the real issue is the optics. car is a dot, a dot, a dot, a dot, then all of a sudden it’s on your bumper. A complete disconnect optically from what you’re seeing in the Sideview mirror – the Sideview mirror and the rearview display need to be in sync with magnification.

Reminds me of the Monty Python and holy Grail scene, where the Knights are in a distance, in a distance, in a distance, then all of a sudden they are right on top of you!

Yeah I personally don't care about the mirror.... I'll remove mine.
I won’t remove mine. It performs a critical function; the interior mirror continuously displays a 100% reliable indication of the tonneau open/close status.

Also, I can check on my dog’s status….
