It is a bad joke... That I'm not even in on. I got my voucher and waiting to spend it..

Some business have an agreement with UPS and FedEx to ship using arbitrary weights. They then get billed for actual weight and size (for FedEx they use a 3d scanner) I rent a lot of cinema gear from a particular rental house and everything states 4lbs with UPS and 5lbs with FedEx, for most of these items, just the packaging weighs more.

Just saying, weight could be the actual weight or not
