Are those rub marks from the original covers? or did that happen since the new ones were installed?
I never had the original wheel covers to start with. And these new wheel covers was installed last night and i took the photo shoot while it was still in the parking lot outside of the dealer garage.

The appeared " rub" is just the dirt color, i just checked.

Only been six months since I dropped 100K and still can't get my hubcaps!

It's almost comical I'll tell ya!

I picked up my wheel covers at a random drop in to the service center. I like the looks.

HOWEVER, I don't know that I would recommend people using these with the current design. They come in two pieces and they are hard to get apart with plastic clips all around. I followed the Tesla installation video exactly and still broke one clip installing them.

One of them popped off the vehicle with a low speed FSD curb rub and I had to go back and pick it up. When I attempted to take the two pieces of it apart again for re-install, even with extra care for each individual clip, another clip broke. So now I'm not sure how long these will stay on combined with FSD usage. I need to rotate my tires as soon as a get a warmer day, so I'll need to go out and remove and disassemble all 4. I fear this will break more clips.

So I think I'd rather just avoid this situation and revert to stock rims with center caps. I'll need to touch up the rims first as they are heavily scratched now from the covers.

Anybody else having better luck with the covers?

If anyone wants the redesigned co vers , I am going to sell mine (In New Jersey or Vermont) PM me. I don't really like the look of them personally, or I should say I like the look with the smaller caps I got from TSportlines that cover the lugs a bit.
