Tesla is playing mine off as normal.

How many here were able to get their drive unit replaced?
The humming/vibrating on regen at 40-45 mph is not normal or acceptable. Especially when it's felt through the floor, pedals, and steering wheel. It took 5 or 6 service visits (I lost count) to have the rear drive unit replaced (AWD).

Does the noise sound like this? Listen for the noise @~45mph.

If so, not normal. Had a motor swap with a ref F and the noise was still there. Truck was ultimately bought back.

Mine is only on regen... 45 MPH with about a 1/4" of green "regen bar" on mild downhill.
I liken it to the vibration some jet engines make on mid size jets (737, etc) when the engine is groaning and resonating through the cabin during climb out.
