That's a hot look, and likely the two side mirrors pass any states regulations for rear facing mirrors. Keep in mind the sun is powerful. I learned that when I first bought my X. That windshield went back behind my head. Its a lot of heat on your face and head. I'm planning on a 97% UV blocking film, (getting placed today!!! ). Good Luck and I rarely take the time to place the visor when facing a setting sun. Drive on!
Wait, you mean there is actual meaning to the term 'redneck'?

I was really annoyed at how the ct has this beautiful ginormous windshield but the sun visors obscure it when not used, and I never even use them. Tried to remove them myself, following the manual. But after breaking a fair plastic clip, I paid to get them removed by a pro shop, and also the rear view mirror which was also useless.

I love how it's tinted at the top anyways
That's the first 2 mods I have been planning on doing! One day... When mine comes in... lol
But seriously I'm glad you were gracious enough to be the test dummy and I'm so happy its possible to remove the visors! Looks amazing!

I like it a lot. I'm definitively removing as well as I'm tinting the entire truck. I would also love to remove the side mirrors but not sure if is legal in Florida.

A Google search seems to indicate you need 'a mirror' and that it should be able to see 200' behind you, but it's a little vague at that. If you had the cash, you could probably beat that statute into cameras, but it wouldn't help you against cops.

Makes a lot of sense. Thank you!

I removed my rear-view mirror and put a 5" monitor for a wireless, solar/battery rearview camera there instead. Basically as a pseudo "co-witness" to the OEM camera on the tailgate. And unlike the built-in camera it has red/green/yellow backup guidelines. Had to buy a 110/120 AC to 12V DC adapter to power it and now working on hiding the wires.

Ideally I'd like to put a real rearview mirror dashcam (hardwired in) but waiting on more best practices there for stepping down from 48V system, cable management in the trim, and pass through from cabin to rear license plate frame.

I actually really like the side mirrors. They are big and nice to have a physical data point when changing lanes like mad max.

As a cyclist, I hate people who tint their front windshield or front windows. I can't make eye contact and have no idea if they see me or if they are gonna kill me. Besides, how can you even see properly at night in the rain with a tint?? Can't you get in shit if you hit someone with a tint?

I just drove 2,000 miles in my 30XX Cybertruck. I actually used the rearview mirror a few times to realize that I was on the freeway with my tonneau open and all my camping gear waving around (luckily not airborne). I get an alert if I forget to enable my Dashcam on my CT when I start a drive, but I don't get any alerts saying my tonneau is open. Somewhat hope in the future they add something saying "Your tonneau is open, would you like to close it?"

I get alerts about the tonneau open, but maybe not while driving?

I wish there was a camera pointing into the tonneau

Ehh, they can choose a different visor if they need it. I rarely use them in my car (I live in the woods) but I make sure to put them in the car when I go out of county.

Same with traction devices. You use them and put them in when you need them.

Only thing that stays in all the time is window cleaner, water bottles, and a windbreaker. The sun lotion, bug spray, chain saw, etc all come in and out with the season.

?‍♀

Yeah, but they don't do as well as the visors in direct sunlight. Sometimes, you just want to block that fiery ball of gas.

Oh, you mean the moon? Asking for Sheila Jackson Lee.,,
