Just took delivery of the Cybertruck AWD today (Thursday.) All I can say is, "What a machine!"

Recently, my wife and I were trying to replace our 2019 Model S LR with the 'newly refresh' 2025 Model S LR. However, the 2025 new changes were not significant enough (at least to us) so we looked at the Cybertruck instead. The Cybertruck 0% financing was also attractive, so we pulled the trigger.

Now we got the Cybertruck, and we couldn't be happier. Look forward to have it wrapped with PPF, and may be add a few accessaries here and there.

Thanks to this forum. I learned a lot about the Cybertruck from you folks. (y)

Best,

Both the Cybertruck AWD and the Rubicon 392 can fit inside the garage, yeah!

Awesome to hear that they both fit! What are your garage width measurement?

Congrats! And welcome to being not just a member of Cybertruck Owner's Club, but an actual, real-world owner!

Looks like a real beauty!

Way to go!! All you’ll do is love driving it more and more. Then you’ll be so spoiled, you will never go back to i.c.e.; not even normal steering anymore.

After owning the Cybertruck for 48 hours, I would say, "What an amazing machine!"

(First we worried about the stalkless turn signal, but we actually had no problem using it. "Like driving a Ferrari 458," I told my wife. ?)

I am a V8 engine guy and I miss my RAM (and the sound of its cat-back exhaust,) but the Cybertruck is really something else. We love it!

Cheers,

I’ve thought about doing the Citrisurf77…
I'm often bushwhacking through overgrown trails which grinds the mud into the finish and creates fine "tiger stripes" you can see when the light is reflected at a specific angle. I let the fine scratches build up and then polish a portion of the truck every 6 months or so and follow up with Citrasurf.

The metal will self-passivate without Citrasurf after polishing if you just leave it out in the rain, but the Citrasurf does it immediately, making the surface more resistant to discoloration from contaminants and even fingerprints to a degree. Yes, rain is good for the metal, especially if the truck is freshly washed.

The stainless steel is definitely less fussy than taking care of paint. After thrashing it hard for over a year on mountain trails, I'm definitely quite impressed how much punishment it can take and be brought back to better than new so easily. I say "better than new" because the finish applied to the metal from the factory was more of a coarse utility finish than a fine art finish. But owners can make it look however they want.

My black plastic mirrors have taken a real beating but I don't think the fine scratches detract from the appearance of the truck and they look like they could be polished out to look as good as new pretty easily. It's a really tough, hard plastic.

That’s great to hear the steel is holding up and able to easily bring back to like new.

Back when I was younger, I used to care so much about keeping my car clean, not getting scratches, etc. Then, I said to myself: it’s just a material object. No need to expend so much time and mental energy on it lol. Which is why I’m loving the toughness of the steel. In 7 months of ownership, all I’ve done so far is take it through the auto car wash and spot cleaned some parts with Sprayway ?

In fact, I just took it to the car wash yesterday and was surprised how clean the steel looks.
