Resubmitting order and got vin within an hour

I was frustrated by not getting a Vin. I submitted my order on May 30th. All I did was go into the app and edit my order to the exact same order. No changes, submitted it and within an our I received a Vin. So, if you have not received your vin yet, just edit your order to the same thing and save!

curious, your profile says scottsdale are you taking delivery at raintree? mind me asking what your vin range is (21XXX leave the last two out). reason I ask is that i put my order on hold a few days ago from raintree for a 21XXX build and wonder if it went to another person here or you haha

Congrats! Don’t let the Raintree folks tell you they can’t fix certain things. I’m going back and forth with them to fix some minor cosmetic issues that others have had fixed. Kinda wish I went to Tempe instead.

Raintree SC is lacking in craftsmanship. My CT had a front windshield replacement due to a glass imperfection at delivery. The SC broke my roof glass when replacing the front windshield, and then they lied about it, saying that the roof glass was fractured at delivery. Now my truck has wind whistle above 55 MPH and the SC is taking 2 months just to even evaluate the wind whistle. I’m disgusted by the Raintree SC. When the replaced the roof glass they left part of the interior header loose and now the whole thing rattles like rattlesnakes over rough-ish roads. I’m not happy.

Can you give me a heads up on the issues so I can be aware when I pick it up?

Mine didn’t have any panel gaps or misalignments with the metal thankfully. I’d double check the windshield wiper and that it wipes off the entire glass area. About 2 inches of the rubber on mine was bent or melted so it was leaving a big streak on the windshield (not great during monsoon season lol).

1 small thing I didn’t see till 2 days after my 1 week period was a small chip off the border of the main screen in front. It’s barely noticeable but you can see where the metal is exposed. Tesla is refusing to fix this as my photo of the chip was 2 days after the 1 week period. Just take your time and photograph every inch of the truck in case you don’t notice something right away. I found I was noticing things after doing random things like washing the truck in the driveway or seeing it in different lighting.
