I ordered the FSCT in December because I decided they would offer the FS to all the reservations before producing the standard CT and I didn’t want to wait. I got that right, but I’m a little surprised, (OK, shocked) at how quickly Tesla ran through the orders! Since we are talking about reservation number 2.2 million, that must mean Tesla has sent “time to order” emails to all the prior reservations. I have a friend with a reservation in the 850,000 and have not heard he got the email. I’ll check with him. I would expect the later reservations, like yours in the millions, would have a higher acceptance percentage. Higher because if you do not order the FSCT, it is going to be a long wait (several years?) before getting your standard CT order.

The 2.2 number is not official. The only official word we received were that there were over 1 million, but it's easy to put 100 dollars down. It's more difficult to pony up $100k+.

Some purchased a ton of reservations, some ended up with new vehicles, and many are likely waiting for the non-FS.
