Selling my CyberTruck reservation place in line

Nah his buddies will get them first, and then the Butt kissing “press” attention seekers. I have no doubt about that camo rapped CT is someone’s personal vehicle, they get to drive it for a little bit, return it back to the plant when they are done playing for the day.

I hope they pull my name on the list soon. I even bought the personalized plate for my CT. Plan on trading my M3.

there really is no place in line as we have no configurations solidified and Tesla doesn't build like that....it could be the configuration or trim that makes the day, or where you are in north america. not your number.

I can't believe people are still replying to this "Paul Jeffries" guy or "guy." Hopefully it is apparent he is a bot or a Tesla spy. Seven pages of posts on this thread so far, zero replies from "Paul" and his original post doesn't even make sense. You don't receive a "contract" when you reserve a CT, and by the many replies in this thread, it would be quite hard to pull off without Tesla eventually finding out.

how is the truck resting on it's top going to help?? and not sure it will stand that way.. it is kinda pointy upside down so not clear how you would keep it there.

I think the list is about 80% people that won’t buy it anyway, they excitement is gone with this truck for most people.
The $100 “reservation” was genius because most have forgotten about it and Just did it to say they had one “on order”…. Years ago when it was cool lol. They most likely won’t ask for the money back.

No question, from following topics posted on forum for years, that a lot of people on the forum are breathless fanboys. However many of us are looking forward to buying the vehicle.

I was not an EV fan until a year after the CT debued so My place in line is a couple years out and thats fine with me . There are also bunch of unknowns with the quantity and density of the 4680. any issues which need to be addressed after delivery and maybe they will rid themselves of that BAW in a few years. I also get to see the silverado launch so as much as I want a CT now I am OK with the wait .

Smart and wise thing to do. Upgrades and fixes would also be implemented. Can't loose.

It is probably all of them, and probably more. I don't know why you think the reservation number isn't a factor unless you are really saying that you think the trim and location are stronger factors. My guess is that they will plan a truck/train load into an area and then go down the reservation list in that area and see who wants what will be on the truck. That is just a guess but when I ordered my Model Y I was definitely in a queue and, although I cannot say for certain how the logistic mechanics work, I would not be surprised if this guess is not that far off the target (sorry for the double negative).

I think you VASTLY underestimate the desire of people to get it.. .the cybertruck was removed from the main tesla page a LONG time ago.. the configurator taken offline so you can just reserve one with no configuration and yet the number of reservations CONTINUES to climb.. my Res number is so high that the res number thing says it will be ten years to get to me.. and yet someone else posted a res number significantly higher... If that many people are willing to reserve a vehicle RECENTLY even with the page not linked directly to tesla.com and no configurator.. i think you will be surprised by how many people turn a reservation into a sale.
