I’m currently using an iPhone with the latest version of the Tesla app, and I have notifications enabled. However, I’ve noticed that when Sentry Mode is active on my Cybertruck (CT), I don’t receive any notifications on my phone when there’s movement or activity near the vehicle. The only way I can see these events is by either opening the Tesla app or checking the dashcam footage directly from inside the CT.

Is this normal behavior? I feel like it would be much more useful if notifications were pushed to my iPhone (or any smartphone) immediately when Sentry Mode detects movement. This would be especially valuable given the increasing reports of Tesla vehicles being targeted or vandalized. Having real-time alerts would provide peace of mind and allow for quicker responses to potential threats.

What are your thoughts? Has anyone else experienced this, or is there a setting I might be missing?

Tesla app only notifies you of “serious” events, like the button to open the door was pressed, or a high level threat was detected.
this is one of the reasons why I use Tessie, it will send me a push notification for ANY movement detected events. Then I can open the Tesla app and verify it’s not random act of vandalism.

you can use my referral link if you want double the trial time, it’s also got some really nice data metrics: https://share.tessie.com/uAhRiQn8DIb

I have been getting notifications (three times now) saying "sentry mode has been on for an extended period of time", or something along the lines of that. I have gotten it about 3 times in the last month, but I don't recall ever getting it previously. All 3 times I went to my vehicle, sentry was not going off, nor was anyone near my vehicle (after reviewing sentry clips).

I use Sentry Pro. The notifications are pretty quick. Here’s a referral code for a free month.
