I’m currently using an iPhone with the latest version of the Tesla app, and I have notifications enabled. However, I’ve noticed that when Sentry Mode is active on my Cybertruck (CT), I don’t receive any notifications on my phone when there’s movement or activity near the vehicle. The only way I can see these events is by either opening the Tesla app or checking the dashcam footage directly from inside the CT.
Is this normal behavior? I feel like it would be much more useful if notifications were pushed to my iPhone (or any smartphone) immediately when Sentry Mode detects movement. This would be especially valuable given the increasing reports of Tesla vehicles being targeted or vandalized. Having real-time alerts would provide peace of mind and allow for quicker responses to potential threats.
What are your thoughts? Has anyone else experienced this, or is there a setting I might be missing?
