September 2025 deliveries - anyone order non-inventory?

Just curious how long folks are waiting for configurations not in inventory stock. My order said 3-5 weeks delivery time frame, and once I got a VIN the local store said late September is when it is scheduled to arrive. It was just built last week in Austin so I guess shipping takes about a month.

Anyone else waiting for their cybertruck to arrive?

I’m in Maryland and ordered August 8th. Initial estimate was 6 to 8 weeks than dropped to 3 to 5 weeks the next day. I received a VIN immediately and then on August 20th got notified that a delivery date was available to be scheduled and the earliest date was September 10th.

I called Tesla and inquired whether I could pick up earlier and they said the truck was scheduled to arrive September 6th so they could only move me up to September 8th for delivery. I’m also impatient and hoping it arrives sooner!

Mine is a 80XXX vin and is still showing mid September, no delivery date available though.

While this is not exact science, my VIN is 280xx and I picked up my CT one year and one day ago.
My thinking being that 79,700 - 28,000 = 51,700 Cybertruck VINS between our two trucks. In my mind, that means Tesla has produced approximately 51,700 Cybertrucks in the last year.

Sure, there may be a stray cat or dog here and there... But I stand by my 51,700 production estimate.

That's a lot in 1 year from 1 factory (Giga Austin). That's a little over 140 per day on average.
