Every month that passes the sweeter the incentIves will get for leftover 2024 models.

Tesla will do whatever it takes to blowout all 2024 Cybertruck inventory before 2026 rolls around. That’s only 218 days away.
Actually, for car salesmen, "2026" is only around 100 days away -- we should start to see "2026" models appearing at the dealerships as soon as September 2025.

Would certainly make sense for Tesla to clear out the 2024s before then. The 2024s already seem dated now that 2025s are available, and it won't get better when other manufacturers start offering 2026s.

Even sooner, the new refreshed Model Y Long Range are 2026s.

Looks like the Forum Has Spoken! Appreciate the advice. Now just got to wait for my daughter to get her license - that’s my green light to get the CT for myself! Hoping this inventory FS stays there until then!

How about buying a used one? Low miles (less than 5k) examples are going for around 87k you would miss on free super charging tho… but its a 20k difference!

Why is this not being considered?

Why spend $87k on used when New FS AWD is $90k? (Unless going for a Beast)

Free premium connectivity also doesn't transfer
(ok, that's only $1k or so...)

Not in my driveway?. If I had to choose between a non free supercharging Beast and free supercharging AWD, I'd be temped to go AWD.
Beast is fun, but free travel and better range are enticing.

2024 Foundation Beasts are at 108k same perks as AWD, 40k Vins, But one can buy used at 88k Foundation Beast as well 26k Vin with only 100 miles in the odo… no FS…

Which is the smartest choice?

About AWDs must seem to go used over MSRP or a couple of grand below which makes zero sense.

I would begin now…only $250 to hold one…if you need to cancel/reschedule delivery day that’s not much.

Don't sleep on the AWD. RWD > FWD in the Beast and mechanical lockers > electronic "lockers". I traded in a Model S Plaid so wasn't sure about my AWD purchase but a year later and I couldn't be happier. Neither the AWD nor the Beast is a Model S Plaid and the gap between the two Cybertrucks, factoring in the above and higher efficiency of the AWD pushed me in that direction. Can't really go wrong either way, but if you ask me Tesla's performance trims should do more to differentiate themselves given the pricing delta - bigger brakes, different seats (which they do now on S and 3), different interior trim/accents, different front/rear bumper caps.

I just picked up the FS a couple weeks ago. the free supercharging, premium connectivity for life, and FSD sold me.I spent $2400 last year charging my Lightning traveling. most likely I will travel more this year with free electricity.

Perhaps one more factor: The 2024 Foundation range is 340 vs. 325 now? (Perhaps because they used slightly better imported stuff in the 2024 Foundation batteries, that wouldn't (and didn't need to) qualify for the tax credit?)

(After nearly 13,000 miles, our Foundation CT routinely displays a range of 333 miles, provides 300+ miles at highway speed, and does 385 miles on occasion on flat-country-road-type driving.)
