7.5k not an option (un)fortunately due to income. thought about that for tires but not a fan of storing 4 huge tires somewhere that will never get changed
The all-season tires are also 35” aren’t they?

Why spend $87k on used when New FS AWD is $90k? (Unless going for a Beast)

Free premium connectivity also doesn't transfer
(ok, that's only $1k or so...)
Assuming they don’t raise the price of premium connectivity.

Sorry!! I thought you guys meant Cyberbeast… is there another trim???
yeah this is a new 2024 foundation series AWD that I’m looking at so just dual motor.
Tri motor for me just seems like (over)overkill, and seems like the tri motors have the most problems of all. The Saga of Kyle’s Cyberbeast on Out of Spec scared me, lol.
This is going to be a 99%er American Truck - overly large, with aggressive tires, so I can drive to work at the hospital every day, transport some plywood every now and again for a DIY home reno, and go camping a couple of times a year.

FWIW, my Beast's only issue was the vault cover.

I would be patient and hold out for possibly sweeter June incentives.
Yep not planning on pulling the trigger until about mid June - July….basically once my daughter gets her license and she takes my current car which will make me “need” a new one lol

Come on. Free gas for as long as you own the truck? No brainer. If there is anything wrong with the lower vin number (which there isn’t) , it’s a warrantee issue.
There are a LOT of changes on the newer trucks including drive units, reformatted frunk, heavier tint on the roof panel, better panel glue, and overall better assembly with fewer alignment and vibration/noise issues. And the unlimited supercharging isn’t worth very much to most people, especially those who value time over money and have home charging. I’ve had four Teslas with unlimited supercharging (it isn’t free, just included in the vehicle price), got little value despite driving around the U.S. several times - it just doesn’t add up to much when most charging happens at home - certainly not worth the premium. There’s a LOT wrong with lower CT VINs.

I find your post super interesting…

Around what VIN and upwards would you consider its a buy?

All 2025 model year CTs have the updates and are far enough along to have the higher build quality. For more details watch the Out-Of-Spec reviews on their Beast in YouTube. Tesla ended up buying their back last month, along with many others, due to engineering issues they simply cannot solve on the beasts. But there were many others issues. Kyle give good recommendation in the videos.

This is what scared me as well. The deals that they have are for free supercharging for life and free premium connectivity for life as well as FSD for 89.9k. To spec a 2025 with the same would be somewhere above 95k and no bottle opener (lol)

A 2025 is n
Not nearly that much. With every option including FSD you’d have a hard time getting to $90k, minus the $7,500 point-of-sale tax credit. But paying up front for FSD is a losing game. Way better deal at $99/month for almost all buyers. $1,200 per year almost always pencils out better than paying $8k for the feature. I violated that with our new Launch edition MY, but decided to splurge. I did not purchase FSD with the CT we bought the same month (March), and ended up ‘winning’ the bet because FSD became free for 15 months anyway. I paid under $72k for a new ‘25 CT AWD after $1k referral and tax credits. I do pay a small amount for ongoing connectivity ($99/yr) but got FSD free - still would have been a better deal on monthly fee basis. Here’s the current deal for an AWD CT including delivery and fees, after credit, under $75k all in:
