On delivery day. the service rep that delivered my car encouraged me to note all the issues I saw with misalignments and such and took an hour to go around the car and nitpick while he took notes and photos. Then he scheduled an appointment to come back and leave the car so they could address the issues. The appointment was at a different location than the delivery center. When I arrived, they said most of the issues notated would not be addressed since the current policy is not to do so for minor issues such as misalignments and fender gaps. I suppose it's fine since the car is great otherwise and fender gaps do not bother me but just wondering if this is what everyone else is experiencing.

That’s not cool. What schedule an appointment and he spent an hour with you for them to say NO we can’t fix it? I had issues and rejected mine. Look at the left side (which had nice spacing) then look at the right. So right it was rubbing

Sounds like he pulled a fast one to get you to accept delivery and out of his lot.

I had a similar issue. Took mine in and they adjusted mine. I still wasn’t satisfied so I took everything apart and did it my self. Now I’m satisfied. Some key take away was first adjust the black bump stops. To me it looks like you drivers side bump stop need la to be lowered a bit.
If that doesn’t work then you’ll need to adjust your latch mechanism which is pretty easy.

Wow that is insane. I took delivery in March and literally every issue I called out at delivery was fixed. No matter how small. It took some time but ultimately it was done.

I went to the same service center where delivery took place though. Dallas - Cedar Springs.

They have been great. They don’t always get it right the first time but it gets done eventually lol.

All these fixes are costly and I wonder if the service center is starting to push back on the sales dept & customers.

I had a 2 mm panel misalignment that was corrected to spec, 1 mm. OK, I'll give them 0.040" slack on a mass produced vehicle. I may have done nothing about it but this one stood out as it broke a long straight line that was at eye level.

Welcome to the club ? very disappointing for a 100k vehicle!! I'm still waiting on my drings and addressing a vibration at 55-65 that a nube Service tech says is "common characteristic" of the Cybertruck motor. Very concerning..

Common enough that they are replacing the motors under warranty.
