Shanghai is now making 2000 model 3's and 1600 model Y's a day. The cybertruck is next.

Hi all
Shanghai is making a huge numbers of vehicles right now and Texas will be even faster with a giga press for the front and rear of the model y along with the structural battery pack speeding up the process to incredible numbers.
The Cybertruck is going to dominate Ford and Rivian in pickups produced and i would suggest Texas will be producing at least 2000 cybertrucks a "day" when it hits full production. Shanghai hit full production in 8 months so i think these are quite exciting numbers.





Make no mistake Elon has been sandbagging the numbers and if i was Ford and Rivian i would be very worried.
This bodes very well for us so i would suggest cleaning up your sheds and getting those vehicles ready for sale.

Yep. It’ll probably take 2+ years to get there, but it’s going to happen.

This is one of the big reasons I think Tesla is going to keep prices as they are.

FWIW, Shanghai might well hit a million vehicles by itself next year. Current run rate seems to be about 800k/ year and it’s still growing.

Yeah, 3600/ day is 1.3m cars/ year. Tesla may get there, but not for a while.

They might be doing that on a peak day, but peak is different than average.
