Aux is 405W 30 amps max if electric brakes are not detected. 270W 20A if they are.

Thanks for that! I swear I read something somewhere about it being 40amp originally, could be one of my other trucks tho. Still, 30amp 12v dc is enough to recharge a battery and run most 12v items we’d need. Like an air compressor for a set of train horns ?

Does that power off with the car? Does it work while charging the car? Anyone know?

The 14-50 outlet in the bed is 40 amps, could have been thinking of that?

A single strip of electrical tape across the gap between the glass roof and the aeroflap, from one side of the truck to the other, made my vault stay dry.

I'm going to either put windshield seal over it, or disassemble and put some weather stripping in there, but the electrical tape has lasted for months here in the PNW. Blends in, too. Nobody's noticed it.
I tested my aeroflap gap and found 3 leaky spots!

Here's what I did to fix them:

1. Reached under the aeroflap and felt for inconsistencies in the rubber seal between the glass roof and the aeroflap. There were a few spots where the seal felt uneven or pinched. So I used my fingertips to press the seal upwards and it seemed snap into place. That fixed 2 of the leaks.

2. The other leak was located in the corner, and little more stubborn. I looked underneath with a flashlight and noticed a pinhole where the seal either wasn't closed or glued completely. So i pressed some DAP clear waterproof sealant into the hole, waited a day, and viola, fixed. Good enough for now.

That’s helpful. I have the tent Iso mine has to be repeatedly removed and replaced.

Tough to get a good photo. But this is the left-hand corner under the aeroflap, and the arrow points to where the 3rd leak was, and I subsequently plugged it with the DAP sealant.

One of the reasons I’m excited about this is that my aeroflap needs to go in and out for cybertent setup. A temporary fix like this would be easy to remove. I’ll just keep a roll of tape with the tent accessories.
Just got back to the truck. For completeness, here's a pic of the tape that's been on it for a few months.

Exactly as described and as I pictured. The beauty of this is the simplicity.

I'd imagine that some of the protective films available now would also do well. Good job.

I assume something like our Armor trim. I could easily make it taller to cover the gap and create a watertight seal on the sunroof, if that's what's being suggested? This bit:

I have purchased just about every single Armor offering your company has, I am wondering if you have anything or could design a wrap to protect the inside of the frunk. The vertical portion that seems very susceptible to scratching if I decide to put bags and stuff inside.

Yeah Pete. This part. But if you have the tent they replace the screws with quick release tabs and that has to be removed and replaced each time you open the tent.

Great idea. Just finished up the truck bed edges, will add this to the list. Not sure how the Armor will do over the 'welded' graffiti logo.
