I have a work trip next week in Indianapolis and would like to drive my CT. I am from Nashville and haven't had issues like some places with vandalism and negative attention. They are having a No Kings thing on Saturday, and I have to be there Sunday, so I'm hoping to miss all of that. I have a Model Y I can drive, but the CT is way more comfortable, but I don't want to take a chance if the climate there is not as supportive as TN. Not a political post, just trying to keep my favorite vehicle safe from crazy people.

You’ll be all good at Valet. There are not a lot of options elsewhere unless you go all the way over Past the ballpark.
The Ruth’s Chris’s is a good one. Elmo’s is always top notch and walking distance. Enjoy Indy. Get bored go to bottle works on NE quad. All kinds of fun stuff

When I see the small percentage of folks that show disapproval of my CT when I'm driving, they don't bother me. I actually feel sorry for them. Well said. I live in Indy and had two idiots driving a shit box that looked like Wayne’s World give me the nazi salute yesterday and I couldn’t help but laugh. Ignorance. Strange in Indy since we’re so conservative but still the uneducated idiots. I swear they must have been listening to Bohemian Rhapsody in ther 87 pinto or whatever it was.

I could careless about disapproval my main issue is my truck will be sitting in a parking lot for a week while I won't be around. I don't want it damaged. They can dislike it all they want.

I am an hour North of Indy and I drive down there all the time. Occasional finger but even that has died down. Never had a vandalism issue.
About 5 months ago I had a week long conference across from the JW Marriott and had no issues. Even a Tesla charger next to the conference center for electric cars only. Easiest parking and charging I have had at a conference. They have a few spots by the chargers for you to park when it’s done too. No vandalism issues though.

I hold this same sentiment. You should do what you want. I hold your same reservations when I go to certain areas, but always take the truck regardless.

NC born and raised! Just don’t understand why people spend the money on a CT and then get scared to drive it. I mean you are in a street legal tank, so to say. Guess this is the world we are living in now.
