Load mode that drops the tailgate only.

some kind of tank or invincible mode that bundles off-road high suspension, wade mode, bioweapons defense mode and beast or sport mode. Basically a “get me out of here” button.

very grateful for the leave aux power on setting that came a few updates ago btw.

Definitely a function for introducing in some way the “eyes” from the low setting in cybertent mode as demonstrated in the post from @dalton108 or a blink at other Cybertrucks feature. Why can’t these things greet each other?

A load mode would be nice given we don't have a step like some other trucks. Would make it easier to climb up in there too.

  1. Pop the doors open for passengers from the truck visualization screen like the feature in the app (for passengers that can't seem to figure out how to get in the truck; or for those that can't find the button to get out and end up pulling the emergency latch)
  2. Change the A/C temp from the back seat display - 3rd zone
  3. Disable the tailgate open feature when the truck senses and obstacle behind it to prevent damage (like a wall in a garage or light pole in a parking lot)
  4. Disable the walk up/Wake up feature when at home to prevent constant waking up as I walk near my garage in my house
  5. Activate trim accent LED lighting when Grok is speaking, similar to the new rave mode for music (like Night Rider Kit)
  6. Allow individual location-based height adjustments to be deleted rather than having to delete all or nothing
  7. Oscillating air vents like the model Y
  8. Ability to turn off the driver's side air vent while leaving the others turned on
  9. When activating off-road mode don't change the ride height until I select something different (sometimes I just want to look at the menu without activating the air suspension)
  10. Maybe I missed it but does it have an automatic trailer hitch option? E.g. the truck automatically backs up and places the ball under the trailer hitch and then raises the truck to engage; same thing backwards when unhitching
  11. Ability to backfeed power share through the wall connector without needing for a control panel (I have an interlock on my breaker panel)
  12. Ability to turn off the wireless charging pads if I just want to put my phone there without it getting glowing hot like the blazing sun
  13. Matrix high beams
  14. Wiper/music beat sync (my OCD trigger) - like light sync, it should keep time with the music - think orchestra conductor wand
  15. Zen Eco mode - FSD economy mode that tunes all settings to yield the highest range (like car wash mode with all the right settings but for the purpose max range)
  16. Animate front and rear light bars in the direction of the turn signal
  17. Automatic service scheduling based on error codes or regular maintenance. E.g. FSD camera glass needs cleaning or tire rotation mileage reached, service is auto scheduled at closest SC/Mobile tech next available time and owner is notified to accept, change or cancel. Include cost estimate

Awesome list. I want all those things.

I really like the rest of your suggestions, but to go at these.

1. There aren't 3 zones. This can't be done with software. Control from the back can, but not a 3rd zone.
2. I can see that coming once Grok is integrated to the car.
3. I thought I read that all Teslas would get this in the future.

I’m still wishing for a persistent onscreen button for the glovebox, instead of having to open the entire options screen which blocks navigation, etc.

I say my left scroll wheel to open the glove box.

I do, too.

That’s still a hassle when driving, and the wife wants it open just so she can ask to have it closed.

Over
And
Over

Haha
My wife just gives it a little shove and it closes. But, yeah, it's a 2 touch effort to open the glove box. Could be one. Put a little button over there on the screen.

That gives me an idea… do you suppose that if I gave her a little shove she’d shut her…
Never mind

I love that. Auditory information is pretty powerful. I listen to the tone of the pulse oximeters all the time in the OR when I can’t look away from the field to know how my patient is doing.
I clicked into this thread to add that, only to be beat to the punch. Helps the driver keep eyes on the road without having to look down to at the screen when the truck (finally) decides to move out of the center lane where is has been following a semi.

Still hoping for a "squat mode" as well that will drop the truck all the down without having to use the service menu. It can get low now, but not low enough for everyone with disabilities.

  • Ideas are free
  • Development is costly
  • Prioritization is mandatory
You're not wrong, but if Tesla wants to improve the CT I think we are an excellent focus-group
