When I am driving I like to pay attention as much as possible to the road/conditions. Tesla wants me to look at their display because many of the warnings (especially FSD warnings) are visual and many of the audible warnings are difficult to discern. I wish there were an option (perhaps fine-grained) to have warnings be spoken rather than visual on the screen. Even the ones that are audible get confused with me. I know that 'something' is wrong but not what and the result is the same that I have to look at the screen, often too late to get the message.

I posted this to TeslaTap but that is just a wish list forum. I thought I'd raise the question here.

I wish there was some fix for this problem. I really doubt nearly all cars since 1976 have had a solution.

In all seriousness, I would love if Tesla made some official add-on instrument panel. You can already buy it online in the aftermarket, but it doesn't have access to all of the cars API and cameras like a Tesla product would. Or even a heads up display that could rest on the dash.

It would be a profit generator for Tesla, and still allow them to reduce manufacturing costs on the base vehicle.

A Heads Up Display seems like it ought to be part of this system.
