I have one. I think it weighs 8 pounds. I like it. It gets hotter than hell in the desert sun but so does the stainless.
Regarding quality, what can you share with us? Is the TIG welding done correctly? What gauge do you recommend? Does it match the CT?

It’s heavy duty beautiful construction and simple to install. It’s rugged rough black powder coated. Up to you to decide how it goes with the truck. I think it’s awesome. The first one came in a basic cardboard box that UPS somehow kinked and the piece was out of plumb. Lucky’s sent me a replacement immediately. It sounds like they’ve upgraded the shipping container.

Anyone have any instructions for this? Comes with some sort of sealing strip but no instructions as to where that goes. It's pretty short so can't be across the full length.

Yeah. I would have this by now if it weren’t for the heat concern. I live in Phoenix and have children. This would become a cooking surface here very quickly.
it looks awesome though.
I’m thinking a rubber/tpe protector is my best bet or some xpel armor unless someone has a better idea.

I remember cutting that strip into maybe 3 pieces and spreading them evenly left, right, and center.

Have you ever touched the car panels on a hot day?
I haven't but its because i avoid the fingerprints. Just wondering how hot the exterior gets.

The panels used to be much hotter on mine before the car was wrapped in ppf. It has made a major difference in surface temp believe it or not

The panel has a pretty rough texture but that may smooth out after some use. I installed it without the adhesive tape it came with, not knowing where I should put it (no instructions). Probably just as well as it seems fine without the adhesive tape.

But it seems like a quality part, is supplied with high quality hardware, and definitely not wobbly like the OEM plastic.

A great upgrade option!

What’s the updates on owners? Powder coating still holding up? Debating on adding this to the truck.

Looks like LuckyFab went mia, won’t reply to emails or even their eBay auctions 🙄
Is this the seller out of San Diego ? I am looking at the sail bed panels but no indication it says Lucky. I just sent them an eBay message to see if they respond.

No that’s just a stick on 3m sails, I wouldn’t go that route. I saw those a while back. Their tail gate is just stick on as well.
