You're right, and I thought the same thing. However, Joe Tegtmeyer did a drone flyover of the Austin factory last week. It shows large numbers of freshly made CTs in the outbound lot. They appear to be RWDs because they have no tonneau covers, but they also appear to have core wheels (pic is from about 6:34). Joe thought they were RWDs headed for SpaceX.

Those are cyber wheels. Look closer

RWD did have the option for cyber wheels

And I will say those are definitely RWDs because of the bed lights. Can’t see the buttons well enough to see if there are tonneau buttons but the bed lights are a dead giveaway.
